The odd world record for the most people gathered together while dressed as dinosaurs was recently broken by a Florida science center. According to a local media report, the weirdly historic moment occurred last Friday evening at the Cox Science Center and Aquarium, which worked with the city of West Palm Beach to pull off the feat. With a representative from Guinness on hand to certify the endeavor, a staggering 468 dinosaur costume-clad individuals were counted, smashing the previous record of 252 'prehistoric' participants. While the evening was cause for celebration in West Palm Beach, the Cox Science Center's claiming of the title is not without a bit of controversy.
