Native Americans sue Colorado to throw out mascot ban

A law that just passed by Colorado lawmakers is already being opposed and sued by 5 Native Americans in Federal Court. The law makes it illegal to use any Native American name or mascot and can be punished with a $25,000 fine. The five Native American plaintiffs believe that this trend prevents schools from honoring tribes by representing their image and likeness for their name and mascots.
