A new forest fire is gaining momentum in Summit County near Silverthorne in Colorado. Firefighters have been working directly with air crews to fight the blaze but it continues to grow. The fire was up to 100 acres in size yesterday afternoon. As wind and weather conditions changed fire officials had to order pre-evacuation for 537 homes in the area.
