Space junk on 5,800-mph collision course with moon

Leftover rocket pieces from a Chinese space launch 10 years ago will be hitting the far side of the moon at 5,800 mph (9,300 kph) on Friday. The aftermath of the impact will carve out a hole 33 feet to 66 feet (10 to 20 meters) across and send moon dust flying hundreds of miles across the surface.
