Despite what you may have heard, William Barr isn't stepping down from his post as the chief law enforcement officer of the United States.
On Tuesday night, the Department of Justice released a statement contradicting an earlier Washington Post report.
"Addressing Beltway rumors: The Attorney General has no plans to resign," noted DOJ director of communications and public affairs Kerri Kupec on Twitter.
That message also got a retweet from White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham.
