Woman Claims Delta Let Man Go After He Sexually Assaulted Her Mid-Flight

A 23-year-old woman is livid after Delta let a man she claims sexually assaulted her during a flight leave the airport when the plane landed. Delany Luh said that she was sleeping on a flight from St. Paul, Minnesota to Los Angeles, when she awoke to find the man seated next to her had put his hands down her pants.

"The first thing that went through my head is, 'What do I do? Who do I call? Did this really just happen?'" Luh told Fox8. "I was in shock."

The man refused to move, forcing her to climb over him so she could alert the flight attendants about what happened. The crew immediately found Luh another seat, but she could not believe what happened when the flight arrived in Los Angeles.

Instead of being met by law enforcement at the gate, the man was allowed to leave the airport like nothing had happened. Luh said the airline gave her a travel voucher, but she was livid that they let the man walk away.

She filed a police report and attempted to reach out to Delta to discuss the incident. After failing to hear from the airline, she shared her traumatic story on Twitter.

"I just feel unhappy with how Delta handled things," she said. "I just want somebody else to hear this story so this doesn't happen to somebody else."
